Founded in 1884, VERITAS in Wittenberge in Saxony developed into one of the best-known and respected producers of sewing machines. In GDR times, millions were built and sold worldwide. Phased out during the German reunification, since 2016the legendary brand has been undergoing a revival. With new positioning on the market and a style-defining brand image.

The spectacular resurrection: The brand VERITAS celebrated its relaunch with an old for new exchange event with prominent support, among others from the Puhdys legend and hobby-tailor Dieter “Quaster” Hertrampf.
